A New Era of Personalized Services for Elderly People

It is with immense joy that we celebrate the inauguration of a new Nursing Home (ERPI) in the heart of the Oeste region, set in the peaceful countryside. This new ERPI, with a capacity for 35 clients, marks a significant milestone in expanding high-quality social care services for elderly individuals, particularly those living with dementia—an ever-growing need in our society.

Mais do que um edifício, esta nova unidade é um espaço onde cada pessoa pode desenvolver os seus projetos de vida, apoiado por uma equipa de especialistas que garantem cuidados personalizados e promovem as competências individuais, num ambiente familiar e estimulante.

This project is born from Vida Maior’s unwavering commitment—a family-run company with a recent yet impactful history—and the dedication of its entire team. More than just a building, this new unit is a space where each individual can develop their life projects, supported by a team of specialists who provide personalized care and foster individual skills in a family-like and stimulating environment.

The opening of this ERPI represents the fulfillment of one of Vida Maior’s dreams and a new chapter in the history of our company, which began five years ago. On this journey, we have supported over 150 clients in our ERPI and Day Centers. We are growing in a sustainable way, and with the opening of this new unit, we will expand from 42 to 60 employees—an increase that reflects our commitment to creating jobs, continuously improving service quality, and developing innovative solutions to serve both the region and the country.

This new space is especially designed for individuals living with dementia, providing multidisciplinary care at costs below the market average, without compromising service excellence. We believe that quality does not have to be inaccessible; therefore, we ensure personalized care plans that promote autonomy, well-being, and quality of life. Beyond direct care, we are also investing in consultancy and training through Academia Vida Maior, strengthening our support for families, caregivers, and Third Sector organizations.

As a private company open to the surrounding community and collaboration with nonprofit social organizations (IPSS), Vida Maior actively seeks efficient management solutions that contribute to addressing and supporting social challenges. Vida Maior’s three units vividly demonstrate the possibility of combining efficiency, high-quality services, and innovation with a vision of well-being and quality of life while expanding our ability to serve the population. This guiding principle shapes all our initiatives: to always innovate, ensuring the best possible care for those who need it most, regardless of their age or health condition.

The inauguration of this new ERPI in Oeste further strengthens Vida Maior’s commitment to creating inclusive and humanized environments, where aging is experienced with dignity. This space is a place of life, sharing, unity, and care.
